Grandma's Brownies

I was tasked with designing a package for a brownie mix. There was a limit of 2 spot colors, so I decided to use pink and brown. The brand name is Grandma’s, so I wanted that feeling of having grandma’s home baked food. With that in mind, I decided that I needed to add an element into the packaging that gave that feeling other than the name of the brand. My grandma had an old floral patterned couch which inspired the pattern that I designed. The pattern was the hardest part of this project. I wanted it to be seamless, so there wasn’t a harsh line where the package got glued together. It took a lot of time and effort to put it together, but I’m glad I did because it came out really clean in the end. Instead of a couch, I made the cylinder look like it is wrapped in a pink and brown wallpaper, and on the back of the package it has frames that hold the required information. Once it was completed, it really gave off that grandma esc charm that I wanted it to have. The colors I chose really helped push the idea that I was going for.
