Nighty Night

I was tasked with designing a package for a pajama set that is in a gable box. There was a limit to 4 spot colors for the design. I wanted to challenge myself a little bit and do something that was a bit different than what I had been doing so far. My product was a lingerie night gown made for young adult women. A design that’s elegant, and a bit cheeky. My original sketches and final hand didn’t translate how I wanted it to on the computer at first, and I had a hard time letting go of my original idea. Though once I did, everything sort of fell into the places they needed to be in and the design felt more put together. Since the product is meant to be for bedtime, I decided to do the night sky. Stars everywhere, grey clouds, and a big crescent moon on the side of the box. I also designed the nightgown itself to match the style of the box. I am very happy with how this package design came out.
