Shilaya By Design Brand

Creating my own brand was one of the hardest design challenges that I’ve done so far. I knew I wanted something that felt more handmade while still being professional and clean. My logo is a combination of the two that I really like. I used inspiration from my own handwriting for my name and then a sans-serif typeface for “in design.” Then created a frame that is made to look like ribbons. Next was picking out a color scheme which I put together by finding 3 green colors that go well together and then a neutral cream color to go with it. All these design elements really reflect how I design and who I am as a designer. It was a big feat, but it came together smoothly and I’m very happy with how it all came together.
